I don't know anything about 'Frozen', unless we're talking about the Adam Greene film; but I hope not, because I wasn't super-fond of that one. I think I'd be happy if I never saw his version again or the Disney one for the rest of my life. I could not care less about Disney films from the past twenty years. Honestly, the newest Disney film I saw was probably something from the 'Lion King' era. Back in the good days, Disney recycled their stars for all of their films; and none of the Disney child actors gets me excited in the pants like Kurt Russell. Disney has since released a DVD set of four Kurt Russell films (which includes this film's two sequels, 'Now You See Him, Now You Don't', and 'The Strongest Man in the World'). Tonight's review is of 'The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes'; and let me tell ya' -- it doesn't matter if it's Disney or John Carpenter -- if it's got Kurt Russell, it'll be worth the watch.

When a group of college kids persuade a local entrepreneur to donate a computer to their school, Kurt Russell accidentally almost electrocutes himself on the P.C., turning him into a human encyclopedia. Unfortunately, the programs previously saved on the computer get transferred to Russell's memory as well; which includes a lot of shady shit from the entrepreneur, who happens to be a gambling crook. The school begins to exploit Russell's new-found knowledge by entering into a statewide trivia competition between colleges; all the while, the crook and his gang (which includes Kurt Russell's father, Bing Russell) chase the human computer so they can delete his memory. The film also stars Cesar Romero, William Schallert, and Ed Begley Jr. in an uncredited role. Simply, 'The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes' is fantastic.
